Tajsar Jafari (b. 1955) is a prominent self-taught Iranian artist originally from Ganjgah, Ardabil, currently living and working in Bandar Anzali. After spending nearly five decades mastering traditional crafts such as carpet weaving and embroidery, Jafari discovered her innate painterly talent later in life, fully dedicating herself to the visual arts over the past fifteen years. Classified as an Outsider Artist, her work is deeply rooted in her extensive background in weaving, reflected in the rhythmic composition of elements and forms that mirror the visual structure of Persian carpets. Her paintings are rich with figures, symbols, and narratives that spring from both her personal experiences and collective memory, offering a unique bridge between traditional craft and contemporary folk expression.

ARTWORK PREPARATION
Every artwork is shipped according to its location.
For the safety of the artwork and to facilitate international transportation, works located in Iran are professionally rolled and packed in archival shipping tubes. Paintings on canvas are carefully removed from their stretcher bars prior to shipment and should be professionally re-stretched and framed upon arrival.
DELIVERY TIMELINE
Our current estimated delivery time for works shipped from Iran is 3–6 months, although many orders may arrive sooner as shipping arrangements become available.
Some artworks are already held by our partner galleries outside Iran and are available for immediate shipment. Where applicable, the artwork page will indicate Immediate Shipping Available along with the Country of Dispatch.
SHIPPING COSTS & COORDINATION
