Artist Biography

Najmeh Amini, born in 1984 in Mashhad, developed a deep passion for painting from the earliest years of her life. In recent years, her focus has been on women, and through her works she has sought to address the hidden and suppressed sufferings of women. In her paintings, she combines the torn and unraveled texture of fabric with a feminine spirit, while constantly striving to achieve a new and personal technical language. In 2022, her latest solo exhibition was held at A Gallery in Tehran. In 2020, she founded Hengam Gallery in Mashhad, and over the years she has been active not only as an artist, but also as a gallerist and curator, organizing numerous exhibitions.
