Mona Kalahroodi (Born 1373, Shiraz, Iran) began painting during her years at an art high school. She participated in her first group exhibition in 2017 and later held her first solo exhibition titled “Existence.”This exhibition presented sculptures and paintings inspired by the artist’s imagination, drawn from forms and states she observed in nature. Through close attention to these shapes and conditions, she arrived at alternative facial forms, which she depicted as faces in the act of screaming. Another part of Mona’s work is derived from her memories of kindergarten—school life, classmates, and the kindergarten choir. She continues to represent faces that have remained in her mind from those early years, bringing childhood memories into her artistic process.
ARTWORK PREPARATION
Every artwork is shipped according to its location.
For the safety of the artwork and to facilitate international transportation, works located in Iran are professionally rolled and packed in archival shipping tubes. Paintings on canvas are carefully removed from their stretcher bars prior to shipment and should be professionally re-stretched and framed upon arrival.

Our current estimated delivery time for works shipped from Iran is 3–6 months, although many orders may arrive sooner as shipping arrangements become available.
Some artworks are already held by our partner galleries outside Iran and are available for immediate shipment. Where applicable, the artwork page will indicate Immediate Shipping Available along with the Country of Dispatch.
