Marjan Toomar (b. 1990) was born in Tehran, Iran, and currently lives and works in Karaj. She studied Illustration and later earned a Master’s degree in Painting. Her artistic practice is driven by ambition, improvisation, and the reinterpretation of images. Deeply fascinated by the history of images, Toomar continuously engages in an ongoing dialogue with visual memory and representation. Working primarily in painting, she explores layered meanings within images, reimagining them through a personal language shaped by intuition, transformation, and critical observation.
ARTWORK PREPARATION
Every artwork is shipped according to its location.
For the safety of the artwork and to facilitate international transportation, works located in Iran are professionally rolled and packed in archival shipping tubes. Paintings on canvas are carefully removed from their stretcher bars prior to shipment and should be professionally re-stretched and framed upon arrival.
DELIVERY TIMELINE
Our current estimated delivery time for works shipped from Iran is 3–6 months, although many orders may arrive sooner as shipping arrangements become available.
Some artworks are already held by our partner galleries outside Iran and are available for immediate shipment. Where applicable, the artwork page will indicate Immediate Shipping Available along with the Country of Dispatch.
