Artist Biography

Mansooreh Baghgaraei (b. 1980) is an Iranian textile artist based in Tehran. She began her artistic practice in ceramics before developing a distinctive visual language that combined ceramic and textile techniques. Since 2014, she has focused exclusively on textile art, embracing the medium for its capacity to express women’s perspectives and lived experiences. Her practice explores the inner and outer dimensions of women’s lives, examining themes of identity, social change, and the relationship between personal experience and broader cultural contexts. Baghgaraei has presented her work in one solo exhibition, 22 national exhibitions, and seven international exhibitions.

ARTWORK PREPARATION

Every artwork is shipped according to its location.

For the safety of the artwork and to facilitate international transportation, works located in Iran are professionally rolled and packed in archival shipping tubes. Paintings on canvas are carefully removed from their stretcher bars prior to shipment and should be professionally re-stretched and framed upon arrival.

DELIVERY TIMELINE

Our current estimated delivery time for works shipped from Iran is 3–6 months, although many orders may arrive sooner as shipping arrangements become available.

Some artworks are already held by our partner galleries outside Iran and are available for immediate shipment. Where applicable, the artwork page will indicate Immediate Shipping Available along with the Country of Dispatch.

SHIPPING COSTS & COORDINATION

Shipping costs, insurance, customs duties, and any applicable import taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. Once your artwork is ready for dispatch, our team will contact you to coordinate shipping and provide the final shipping cost prior to shipment.
