Artist Biography

Malahat Mohebkhah (b. 1987, Rasht, Iran) is an Iranian artist and painter. She holds a BA in Painting from Isfahan University of Art and a MA in Painting from the University of Art, Tehran. Since 2013, she has presented three solo exhibitions titled Limbo, Tarh and Abdidegan, at Aria Gallery and Shirin Gallery in Tehran and her most recent solo, Remembrance: Love and Grief, was held at Choom Gallery in Anzali. She has also participated extensively in group exhibitions since 2012. Mohebkhah’s practice is grounded in an inquiry into the interrelations between human relationships, temporality, and spatial experience, through which the notion of memory is positioned as a central conceptual axis. Within this framework, formal strategies such as transparency, reflection, integration, and repetition are systematically employed to articulate layered visual narratives. In doing so, it foregrounds the epistemological limits of perception and the stratified structure of memory.

Mohebkhah lives and works between Rasht and Tehran and is currently developing the Remembrance project.

ARTWORK PREPARATION

Every artwork is shipped according to its location.

For the safety of the artwork and to facilitate international transportation, works located in Iran are professionally rolled and packed in archival shipping tubes. Paintings on canvas are carefully removed from their stretcher bars prior to shipment and should be professionally re-stretched and framed upon arrival.

DELIVERY TIMELINE

Our current estimated delivery time for works shipped from Iran is 3–6 months, although many orders may arrive sooner as shipping arrangements become available.

Some artworks are already held by our partner galleries outside Iran and are available for immediate shipment. Where applicable, the artwork page will indicate Immediate Shipping Available along with the Country of Dispatch.

SHIPPING COSTS & COORDINATION
