Artist Biography

Kiana Khazchin (b. 2002, Mashhad, Iran) is a painter and interdisciplinary artist based in Tehran. She holds a B.A in Painting from Tehran University of Art, and has presented two solo exhibitions as well as participating in numerous group shows both in Iran and abroad. Her work has so far largely explored the human body’s form and its related complexities, such as its relation to [occupying] space and the outer gaze. Over time, non-representational subjective forms have also entered her spaces, functioning in coexistence and dialogue with the bodies.Her current practice focuses on themes such as amity, care, and the possibility of forming alternative worlds.

ARTWORK PREPARATION

Every artwork is shipped according to its location.

For the safety of the artwork and to facilitate international transportation, works located in Iran are professionally rolled and packed in archival shipping tubes. Paintings on canvas are carefully removed from their stretcher bars prior to shipment and should be professionally re-stretched and framed upon arrival.

DELIVERY TIMELINE

Our current estimated delivery time for works shipped from Iran is 3–6 months, although many orders may arrive sooner as shipping arrangements become available.

Some artworks are already held by our partner galleries outside Iran and are available for immediate shipment. Where applicable, the artwork page will indicate Immediate Shipping Available along with the Country of Dispatch.

SHIPPING COSTS & COORDINATION

Shipping costs, insurance, customs duties, and any applicable import taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. Once your artwork is ready for dispatch, our team will contact you to coordinate shipping and provide the final shipping cost prior to shipment.
