Horieh Hashemi was born on February 5, 1984 in Tehran and lives there. She has had 4 solo exhibitions and participated in more than 40 group exhibitions. She is a visual artist and began her artistic career in 1990. In her works, she deals with the unformed or forcibly formed identity of contemporary man in his biological context. Contemporary man and his loneliness and broken soul have been one of the concerns of this artist. She studied art at the university in Iran and has an art degree from the Reliance University in France and TUV in Germany.

For the safety of the artwork and to facilitate international transportation, works located in Iran are professionally rolled and packed in archival shipping tubes. Paintings on canvas are carefully removed from their stretcher bars prior to shipment and should be professionally re-stretched and framed upon arrival.
