Hamed Jaberha

Hamed Jaberha is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses video, artist’s books, and sculpture, with a sustained focus on image and archive, often realized through installation. Concept and temporality are central to his work, and in recent years his projects have been increasingly shaped by engagements with historical and political subject matter. He has a pronounced interest in working with natural, time-based, and perishable materials. Adopting a critical yet poetic approach, his work draws on natural phenomena, historical narratives, classical texts, and social currents, exploring forms and concepts such as erosion and decay as metaphors for cycles of destruction and regeneration. To date, he has held five solo exhibitions and participated in over sixty group shows.

In addition to his artistic practice, Jaberha maintains a graphic design studio, Studio HEH, through which he actively contributes to cultural discourse across various platforms. He serves as Artistic Director of Pamenar Press, an independent publisher dedicated to multilingual and experimental poetry. He is also a Board Member of Mosem Platform, Skap Projects, and Vayu Residency, and a Co-Founder of Ghonbad Projects—all initiatives that foster interdisciplinary artistic exchange. Jaberha further brings extensive residency coordination experience, having developed and managed artist residency programs in collaboration with Rybon Art Center.
