Elham Rafiei(b. May 1,1985) is an Iranian artist whose practice has developed between Yazd and Tehran, Iran. Her work is rooted in her experience and identity as a woman artist, focusing on the role of woman within cultural and social structures and challenging established norms. Working primarily in painting and visual narratives, she explores themes of identity, absence, embodiment, and everyday experience. Her recent project, Without Me, continues an earlier series in which empty clothes in female forms become symbolic extensions of identity and lived experience, creating space for fluidity and alternative connections beyond fixed and binary structures.
ARTWORK PREPARATION
Every artwork is shipped according to its location.
For the safety of the artwork and to facilitate international transportation, works located in Iran are professionally rolled and packed in archival shipping tubes. Paintings on canvas are carefully removed from their stretcher bars prior to shipment and should be professionally re-stretched and framed upon arrival.
DELIVERY TIMELINE
Our current estimated delivery time for works shipped from Iran is 3–6 months, although many orders may arrive sooner as shipping arrangements become available.
Some artworks are already held by our partner galleries outside Iran and are available for immediate shipment. Where applicable, the artwork page will indicate Immediate Shipping Available along with the Country of Dispatch.
