Aria Tehrani (b. 2002 Tehran) is an emerging artist who had his first solo show at O Gallery in 2025. Tehrani primarily works with watercolor and pastel, employing both highly saturated bold colors and muted dark tones within balanced compositions. Drawing inspiration from classical painting, he mainly focuses on portraits and still lifes, often revisiting the same subjects repeatedly through sustained observation and practice. While his compositions may recall historical precedents, his expressive use of form and color gives the works a distinctly contemporary sensibility. His practice reflects a sustained interest in human presence and the environments people inhabit.
