THE MISSION
SUPPORTING ARTISTS AT THE MOMENT WHEN CONTINUITY MATTERS MOST.
Continuum: Artist Relief for Iran was created in response to a quiet but urgent reality: many emerging artists in Iran are facing sudden interruptions to their work, from canceled exhibitions and disappearing opportunities to displacement and financial hardship. For some, the challenge is no longer simply about advancing a career, but about sustaining a practice at all.
This initiative offers a direct and immediate form of support. The artists presented on this platform have been carefully selected based on real and pressing need. Through the sale of their works, they receive not only income, but continuity: the means to keep working, remain visible, and move forward.
100% of artwork proceeds go directly to the artists. Developed by Duran Art Projects and supported by a growing network of international collaborators, Continuum is rooted in a simple belief: supporting an artist at the right moment can help transform interruption into continuation. Each work you see here is part of that effort.

INITIATIVE CURATORS
THE VISION BEHIND CONTINUUM.
Continuum: Artist Relief for Iran is guided by a curatorial approach rooted in care, responsibility, and collective action. Rather than a traditional exhibition model, this initiative emerged as a response to the urgent realities facing artists in Iran, and to the ways communities inside and outside the country came together to support them. The curators help shape this vision by creating context, building bridges, and giving meaningful visibility to the artists and stories behind the works. To understand the full thinking behind the initiative, we invite you to read the curatorial statement.

FAQ
GUIDANCE FOR ARTWORK INQUIRIES, PAYMENTS, AND SHIPPING.
Find answers to common questions about acquiring artwork, payment, artist proceeds, shipping, and the inquiry process. If you are interested in a work, our team will guide you through each step before any payment is made.
To acquire a work, simply submit a purchase request through the artwork page. Availability is indicated directly on each listing. Once your request is received, we will contact you with secure payment details and guide you through the final steps of the acquisition.
Artworks are displayed in multiple currencies (CAD, USD, EUR, and GBP) for convenience. Payments are made via bank transfer to a Canadian account, and you may complete the transfer in your preferred currency.
Once you submit a request, you will receive secure wire transfer instructions. Each transaction is handled individually to ensure accuracy, security, and a smooth acquisition process.
Yes. 100% of proceeds go directly to the artist. Funds are transferred within 24 hours of completed payment through secure and compliant international exchange channels, ensuring both speed and reliability.
Yes. Once you submit a request, the work can be placed on hold for up to 24 hours. If the purchase is not completed within this time, the work may be released and made available again.
Due to the nature of this initiative and current logistical conditions, each acquisition is handled individually. This allows us to coordinate securely, provide accurate payment details, and ensure that proceeds are transferred efficiently to the artist.
Once your payment is received, you will be issued a digital certificate of authenticity, confirming the work as yours. We will then coordinate directly with the artist and keep you informed throughout the shipping and delivery process.
Yes. A digital certificate of authenticity is provided immediately after purchase. A printed certificate will accompany the artwork upon delivery.
Shipping timelines vary depending on destination and current regional conditions. In most cases, delivery may take approximately 3 to 6 months. We remain in close coordination throughout to ensure safe and reliable delivery.
Whenever possible, works are shipped directly from Iran. In cases where this is not feasible, artworks are carefully transferred to a secure location outside the country and shipped from there to ensure safe international delivery.
Extended timelines are due to current logistical and transportation conditions affecting the region. Each shipment is carefully coordinated to ensure the work arrives safely, even when additional steps are required.
Works on paper (such as drawings, photographs, and prints) are carefully rolled and shipped in protective tubes.
Paintings are typically shipped unstretched and rolled, allowing for safer transport and significantly reduced shipping costs. They can be professionally re-stretched upon arrival by a local framer.
This method ensures safer international transport while keeping shipping costs reasonable. It also reduces the risk of damage during transit. The process of re-stretching a canvas is standard and can be easily handled by professional framers worldwide.
Yes. Each transaction is handled individually with verified communication and secure payment instructions, ensuring a safe and transparent process from start to finish.
